Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP, a preeminent full-service law firm focused on real estate in the United States, today announced that Andrew Ouvrier has joined the firm as a real estate leasing partner. Ouvrier brings more than 15 years of experience in the negotiation and documentation of all types of retail, office and industrial leases to the firm’s Retail Group, a team having one of the largest concentrations of attorneys in California devoted primarily to retail development and leasing.

Ouvrier represents a wide variety of landlord and tenant clients, including institutional investors and entrepreneurial individuals and entities. He has represented landlords in office leases totaling more than 10 million square feet across the nation, and has represented numerous office tenants as well, including a more than 2 million-square-foot office portfolio for one of the world’s largest e-commerce companies.
Recent projects under Ouvrier’s strategic legal guidance include: a 2.65-million-square-foot office portfolio in Seattle and Bellevue, Washington; a 2.25-million-square-foot project in Century City; a 2.21-million-square-foot project in Chicago, Illinois; a 950,000-square-foot project in Long Beach; and a 900,000-square-foot project in San Francisco’s SoMa district.
Ouvrier has earned a national reputation as a top real estate leasing attorney throughout his career at other distinguished real estate-focused law firms, where his practice also focused on cell tower lease agreements and assisting institutional landlords in their ongoing management of office projects and retail shopping centers.

Ouvrier holds a juris doctor from Loyola Law School, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif, an honor bestowed upon the top 10 percent of a graduating class. He graduated cum laude from University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in English.
Ouvrier is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and University of California, Los Angeles Real Estate Alumni Group (UCLA REAG). A resident of the San Fernando Valley, Ouvrier is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office.
