Overview

Katie Valdez is a paralegal who has experience in title and survey work including organizing and reviewing due diligence for a variety of commercial real estate transactions.  

Katie works on a variety of transactions including acquisition and development loans, construction loans, and mezzanine loans, across a broad range of product types including commercial, shopping centers, hotels, and retail projects. She focuses on reviewing and summarizing title commitments, underlying exception documents, title endorsements and American Land Title Association (ALTA) surveys. Katie handles the preparation and filing of conveyance, finance and other transaction documents in connection with real estate and personal property acquisition and sale transactions, project finance transactions and joint venture transactions. She also regularly assists in loan modifications.  

Katie managed due diligence and assisted in the closing logistics of asset-based and real estate financing transactions representing national and regional financial institutions throughout the country ranging in size from $1 million to $1 billion.
