On November 8, 2013, the Daily Journal quoted San Francisco partner Michael H. Zischke on the state Supreme Court stepping into a development battle in which residents claim that city of Orange officials flouted land use law and ignored the will of the voters when they approved a residential project in designated open space (Orange Citizens for Parks and Recreation v. Superior Court of Orange County, S212800).
