Future Looks Uncertain as Green Energy Incentives End

Anne Mudge offered her insights to the Daily Journal about the impact on future renewable energy projects due to the expiration of several major federal incentive programs.  Based on her work with wind energy projects, Mudge said this news could impact future development.

 “(The Production Tax Credit)  has been allowed to lapse in the past and this has caused a large drop-off in renewable energy projects until it has been put back on the books,” says Mudge. “If the PTC is not extended, I expect that many wind developers will sit out until a new PTC is adopted"
