One of California’s leading legal industry newspapers named Cox Castle & Nicholson's Northern California Environmental and Land Use and Natural Resources Practices as one of the Leading Environmental Practices. Published in The Recorder on April 9th, Cox, Castle & Nicholson was one of 10 firms selected for the inaugural ranking.

“We are honored to be included in this select list that recognizes the top industry experts in these specialized areas of law,” said Clark Morrison, chair of the Land Use team. “This is a great honor, not just for the talented attorneys in Northern California, but it showcases the type of great work our entire firm offers its clients.”

In selecting Cox, Castle & Nicholson, The Recorder spotlighted Morrison, Stuart Block, Robert Doty, Anne Mudge and Michael Zischke as key players in environmental and land use arenas. It also noted that the firm “prides itself on being at the forefront of climate change, helping clients navigate alternative energy frontiers.”

As stated by The Recorder, “The firm represents the builder of the world’s largest wind energy project. It also represents clients in CEQA and environmental cleanup litigation." "Cox Castle is cited by peers as among the best.”
