Daily Journal Lists Two Cox, Castle & Nicholson Attorneys In Their Top 25 Real Estate Transactional Attorneys
Both Mathew A. Wyman, a partner in Cox Castle Nicholson’s San Francisco office, and John Kuhl, a partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office, were named to the Daily Journal’s Top 25 Real Estate Transactional Attorneys list on August 14, 2013.
The list recognizes attorneys who completed a noteworthy real estate transaction or a body of large deals.
Mr. Wyman was recognized for his body of transactions during 2012, including Taylor Morrison’s purchase of Texas-based Darling Homes, acting as lead transactional counsel for the estate of Lehman Brothers in multiple development deals in the State of California, Catellus Development Corp.’s structured deal with TriPointe Homes LLC, and others.
Mr. Kuhl was recognized for several large transactions during 2012, including a joint venture to return to productive use properties on the East Coast that were damaged or destroyed during the hurricane known as Superstorm Sandy; representation of an institutional investor in a joint venture to develop, redevelop, and acquire retail properties in low-income areas in Los Angeles; and a joint venture in the acquisition and development of real estate projects in the technology and life sciences sectors.
