Cox, Castle & Nicholson Names Keith Walker as a Partner of the Firm

Los Angeles – (January 26, 2016)Cox Castle & Nicholson, one of the largest full-service law firms focused on real estate in the United States, announces the election of Keith Walker as a partner of the firm.  Walker serves as an environmental attorney in the firm’s Los Angeles office. His election brings the number of partners in the firm to 75.

“Keith’s passion for delivering excellent client service and dedication to advancing the firm has been evident throughout his tenure at Cox, Castle & Nicholson,” said Mario Camara, senior partner on Cox, Castle & Nicholson’s Executive Committee. “We are proud to announce Keith’s appointment to partner and look forward to his continued accomplishments.”

Mr. Walker focuses on pre-acquisition environmental risk management, regulatory compliance, cost recovery litigation, and all aspects of brownfield redevelopment. He has extensive experience counseling property owners, developers and lenders on effective ways to avoid or address human health risks and providing environmental due diligence in connection with property and real estate portfolio acquisitions. Mr. Walker also has expertise negotiating environmental insurance policies covering single or numerous sites. In addition to his expertise in law, Mr. Walker brings valuable scientific and technical knowledge to help clients analyze and assess environmental risks and predict and respond to regulatory enforcement regarding toxicological risks.

Mr. Walker participates in speaking engagements and committees throughout the country and has been published in numerous law and real estate publications. He has dedicated considerable time and effort to participation in industry groups, including the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), CoreNet Global and the Western HVAC Performance Alliance. Walker also is actively engaged in Cox, Castle & Nicholson’s marketing and practice development committees, and acted as a mentor in the firm’s summer associate program for six years.

Mr. Walker started his career at Cox, Castle & Nicholson directly after receiving his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. He remains involved with the University’s Law Firm Challenge and other mentorship programs.
