Cox Castle Lures Real Estate Pro For Orange County Office
On April 20, 2012, Law 360 reported that esteemed land-use attorney Tim Paone had joined Cox Castle & Nicholson as a partner in the firm's Orange County office.
Paone, known for representing some of Southern California's top residential and commercial real estate developers, was most recently real estate practice chair at Theodora Oringher. Paone has broad experience in land-use issues involving the California Environmental Quality Act and California Coastal Act. He has also advised clients on a range of issues including CEQA and other land-use litigation matters and represented individuals and businesses in real estate negotiations with city and county governments.
David Wensley, managing partner of the Orange County office, called Paone a “great addition.”
"Tim and I have known each other for many years, and I consider him to be an extremely talented and highly regarded land use lawyer," Wensley said. "He recognizes that our breadth is one of the best platforms for him."
Paone told Law 360 that Cox Castle's reputation attracted him to the job, calling it “a terrific honor.” He said he is eager to help the firm's clients address whatever the “simmering” California real estate market offers next.
