In its Real Estate Movers and Dealmakers column, the Daily Journal reported on October 28, 2010 that Cox Castle & Nicholson partner Stephen Ryan represented Wood Partners in the conversion of the unfinished 250-unit City Walk condominium project in downtown Oakland to an apartment complex. “As it was, it was sitting there for almost three years, sticks out of the ground and wrapped in bubble wrap,” Ryan said, noting that the firm advised Wood Partners on the acquisition of the property, financing and repurposing.
