Overview

Cox Castle represents clients in the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of California agricultural and farm assets, including orchards, vineyards, row crops, and grazing land. We regularly assist clients with agricultural and grazing purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, farm management, and other operational agreements commonly seen in the farming industry. In addition, we have extensive experience with issues related to lands subject to the California Williamson Act Program (California Land Conservation Act of 1965), as well as use of agricultural and grazing lands for agricultural and environmental/habitat mitigation projects. Our knowledge of the “dirt” and what can go both in and on it allows us to give our clients sound, practical advice.
