The Seminar Group's Shoreline and Coastal Management Conference

09/26/19-09/27/19
Events
Venue: Oakland Marriott City Center, Oakland, CA

Please join Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP Partners Stanley Lamport and Scott Birkey for The Seminar Group's California's Changing Coastal & Shoreline Management: Legal and Regulatory Insights and Responses.

The Bay Area faces unprecedented challenges to its shorelines from erosion, subsidence, inundation, pollution and ageing shoreline infrastructure. Coordinated responses are essential, yet complicated by the need to work across diverse counties and over 100 municipalities. This program addresses salient legal and regulatory issues, innovative risk management and funding approaches, and examples of progress toward shoreline adaptation.

Program Co-Chair Scott Birkey will be providing an Introduction and Overview of the Program. Stanley Lamport will be speaking on the panel "A Deep Dive into the Legal Aspects and Liabilities Associated with a Changing Coast."

This event will take place from September 26 to September 27th, 2019 at the Oakland Marriott in Oakland, CA.
