Alliance Leaders of Change
Cox, Castle & Nicholson was proud to sponsor the "Alliance Leaders of Change" event at the Grammy Museum. Alliance College-Ready Public Schools is a nonprofit charter organization that is changing the lives of more than 10,000 under-served students in Los Angeles by offering consistently high-performing educational environments. The evening included an inspirational discussion between Usher Raymond, IV (Grammy award-winning recording artist and philanthropist) and Virgil Roberts (attorney and Chairman of the Board for the California Community Foundation) about what young leaders can do to improve public education and support low-income students in Los Angeles. The event also helped to make one incredible student's college dreams a reality by awarding Alliance senior Estefany Rodriguez with a $25,000 scholarship. Estefany will attend UC Berkeley this fall!
