Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP Partners Scott Birkey and David Waite will be speaking at Argent Communication's 4th Annual California Land Use Law & Policy MCLE Conference. David Waite will be presenting on a development lawyer's perspective on ballot box planning with Los Angeles' Measure S and the Use of Anti-Development Initiatives and Referendum. Chair Scott Birkey will be speaking on California’s new wetland regulations and other California land use regulations on a potential collision course with pending federal environmental policies. Senator Scott Wiener (D-Dist.11), the author of S.B. 35, will be delivering a keynote address on "California and Its Unique Housing Needs".
